Gargotte et les vlipous

Fun characters and versatile materials!

The Gargotte et les vlipous collection helps children develop phonological awareness with Ensemble syllabes and phonemic awareness with Ensemble sons. Players join the vlipous, funny little creatures who love getting messy and playing tricks, along with Gargotte, a slightly grumpy monster. Each set includes four games and an accompanying guide.

Each game includes materials for at least four players. In most games, children can check their own answers, so adult supervision is optional. Rounds last about five to ten minutes, making the games easy to use in learning centres, small groups or one-on-one intervention. When adult guidance is needed, as in Détecteurs de syllabes, the game can also be played with the whole class.

Each set comes with an accompanying guide that includes assessment tools, tracking charts and reproducible worksheets aligned with the same learning goals as the games. The guide is included in both print and digital formats when purchased as part of a set. When purchased separately, it is available in digital format only.
