Created with the goal of offering an exceptional reading collection, Escalire was developed by our experienced pedagogical team, who refined the Fountas and Pinnell scale by adapting it to the specific features of the French language and the latest scientific research on learning to read. As a result, every letter, sound and word is introduced according to a clear, logical progression designed for learning to read in French.

Escalire is the only collection of more than 150 books, leveled according to a recognized scale, to feature the same characters throughout its readers. And what better way to motivate young readers than giving them characters they can grow attached to? With Escalire, children discover stories filled with adventure, humour and the joy of reading. Rooted in children’s everyday lives, the collection offers engaging stories across a wide range of themes.
