Ensorce-Lire
A playful book collection designed to focus on decoding with nonwords!
Ensorce-Lire is our collection of graded readers for beginner readers. The characters in the books—wizards and witches—encourage readers to recite magic spells with them and discover the results of the spells from one page to the next.
The texts include pseudowords, used as magic spells, along with words that are easy to decode. The collection is organized into three levels, gradually introducing more complex graphemes. The graphemes included in each book are listed on the first page, making it easier for educators to choose books based on the grapheme-phoneme correspondences students have already learned.
With Ensorce-Lire, readers can practise and strengthen their understanding of grapheme-phoneme correspondences step by step, in a fun reading context that keeps them engaged while offering just the right level of challenge.
